Lutheran High School’s annual December Giving Day is one of the most important service days of the year. Students, parents, staff, and volunteers gather food, trees, and decorations for families who are in need in our community.
This year, the school adopted eight families this year. They brought Christmas trees, decorations, food, and gifts, and helped to set them up as well. Students also participated in clean up activities in and around church properties.
A special thank you goes to the Ladies of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sacramento, Light of the Valley Church in Elk Grove and individuals from several other churches for their generous donations to help us be a blessing to these families who are struggling in this difficult economic climate.
