Heather Nelson '98 After graduating from LHS in 1998, Heather Nelson went on to study Biology at Concordia University in Irvine, California, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in 2002. “Wanting to explore what I could do with my degree I got a job as a lab assistant working at a blood bank in Sacramento.”
For five years, Heather worked screening donated blood products for infectious diseases while taking classes at the community colleges around the Sacramento area to pursue further interests in the medical field. In June 2007, she started Nursing school at California State University, Sacramento, and hopes to graduate this Spring.
“Looking back on my years at LHS, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to attend a Christian school where I was able to build a foundation in the Lord that has had a great impact on my life and decisions.”
