Jim Pevy '02 After graduating from LHS in 2002, Jim Pevy attended and graduated from Concordia University in Irvine, California, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Theological Studies in 2006. The same year, God blessed him with a beautiful daughter, Rebekah.
Since 2006 he has been taking care of Rebekah and watching her grow, “which has been a blessing.” Jim’s future plan is to get his Master’s of Divinity to become a pastor in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
“Looking back on my years at LHS, I am very grateful to
have had the opportunity to build a strong bond with my teachers. I had a few teachers who I could go to and ask anything.” Jim’s favorite teacher at LHS was Mr. Juleg, with whom he developed a strong friendship, and they encouraged each other in their faith. “My years at LHS helped me
decide what I wanted to be and show me where God was leading me for my future.”
